There's a big Shed Remodel in store!
I am super duper uber tuber luber (other words that rhyme with uber) excited!
I guess I will explain the layout... Currently where the shelf is I am going to be putting all of the cages there for a couple reason 1. It's better air flow 2. It will give me more cage space and 3. I just wanted a change haha :) But I am getting a new 6 hole which has holes that are 24x24 so those can be used with doe and litters with smaller litters and just to get the kids some more kicking room! Then I will be getting 4 new pet cages from here (http://www.petmountain.com/product/cages/11442-504595/super-pet-my-first-home-3-pack-assorted-colors-.html) I highly recommend them! They have awesome stuff for an even awesome-er price! Soo then those cages will go where the 8 hole is now so then it will be like a little pet stacker but they are going to go on the wall with the window so there is still plenty of room and such... then on the other wall where the maternity cages were I am going to get a cabinet and have that house all of the like grooming supplies and everything else then I will put my carriers either in the loft or next to the little cabinet thing... That's the plan we will see how it goes! But all in all I am really super excited!! This should all be done in about 2 weeks!

Catch Up Time! - Hamburg Show - Post 1 of 100000
Well just like the title says it's Catch Up Time! Sorry I haven't posted since March! I have been super busy and just dont feel like blogging sometimes haha but oh well what can you do?
I guess we will start off with Hamburg Show. Hamburg was really fun and I liked both the judges. I thought that they placed fairly and did an excellent job. In the first show Mary Ellen S___ I forget her last name but she was the judge for Show A. Etienne did pretty good he placed middle of his class but it's time for him to sit back and grow haha. Even though he won't actually do that because I like showing no matter if I win or loose haha. Kennelly didn't do so hot which kind of determined my decision that he isn't really helping the herd and should go to a nice 4-H or Pet home. He's such a sweetheart so let me know if you are interested :) Genesis did awesomee okay just kidding not really she got 6 out of 8 but oh well what can you do,she normally consistently places the top 3 but I guess not this show. Then Filbert got DQed because I put the wrong tattoo on whoops! I put FILB and it's FILBT :( oh well it happens. Then Toy won her class!! YAY! She lost to the senior doe for BOS because she wasn't as developed and still has the baby coat which is understandable.
Then in Show B the judge was Ben Haagen, who I really like. He is a really nice judge and goes through all the animals and then he explains a lot why they were placed where they were. Etienne did pretty good he got 4th out of like 10ish I think, but he said that he just needs to sit back and grow up some. He's a nice buck though :) Then Genesis got 2nd because she was being a little poophead and wouldn't pose so he couldn't really evaluate her that well then she's got some molting issues going on but he also really liked her. I am so proud of Genesis, she's such a sweet girl! :) Then Filbert got 3rd or 4th I cant remember I had to go and change the tattoo so he didn't get DQed this time haha. It seems like at every show they are always getting DQed at least someone is! Then Toy won her class again!! She's on a roll! She's so nice and loverable and she lost to the same Senior Doe.
Then as Julie and I were leaving we stopped to deliver some rabbits for Transport and then we ran into Pam and Traci and Traci had this amazing buck for sale and well I felt him and Julie and I both looked at each other like one of us has to get him and well that would be me! So introducing The Boyz Deuce! He's such a wide wide wide wide massive buck. He's a little over 4lbs so hopefully he won't be for Leesport but you never know! :) I am so in love with him though. I can't wait for little Deucey's! haha :) Thanks Traci! Then we got Filbert of course who is awesome! Thanks Eileen! Filbert is such a big love bug, he reminds me of a puppy and he's very blonde at times, he's constantly putting his feet in his water dish so I need to switch him over to a bottle I think haha :) But I think Filbert and Genesis will make some really nice babies! Then I got Tiujana from Ashlee. Thanks Ashlee! Tiujana I call her Tiggy for some reason but she's a super short doe with a really nice crown so I am hoping she will shorten and fix some of the crowns here. I am excited to show her though and see how she does :) Then I saw a fuzzy lop in the raffle and I figured if he was still there at the end of the show I would go see if there was a chance I could get him. Sure enough he was still there so they handed out new tickets to people who wanted him and there was probably 7 other people and I won! I was sooo excited I never win anything like that. So to say the least I was astatic. He's a registered buck named Copper. He's 5 years old but boy he can still have babies. I am excited to see how his and Toy's babies.

TGIF
TGIF! I am so happy it's Friday and a Friday that I don't work!
Anyways, Lots has been going on since the last post! Washington was quite a show! It was a lot of fun and I really liked it, it was definitely worth the drive! Etienne got BOV yay! :D in Show B and Genesis got amazing comments, I was so proud of her! We had a really fun time! Next show is Hamburg on 4/2! I am super excited for that one because April will be there!! We have missed her at shows so much but now she will finally be here! :D
Litter updates! Idina's 3 black babies are doing excellent! She's a great mommy and loves her babies. They are looking finee for 2 weekers haha :) I need to start thinking of names for them! Bling's babies are doing great! I am so excited, Pooh and Piglet are turning out to be quite the cute pair!
Davi is due on Monday! I am super excited she's bred to Repeat she already has quite the nest built. I thought she was due this past monday but she wasn't so yeah... anyways!
Sahar is due April 19th, super excited about that should be sooner actually I think it's April 12th, guess I will have to check on that.... nothing else really going on here, I am gonna try to keep this updated more often!

Landon's Day at the Spa
Landon is my broken orange pet Elop for those who don't know! He's such a love and is so friendly. He was hopping around the shed today and well he's a pig and he like rolls in stuff and I am not sure what he rolled in but anyways so he was really dirty. So I brought him in and we just kinda chilled for a while until he started to smell a lot so then I was giving him a bath and he like broke one of his toe nails poor little buddy! But I patched him up and we continued on with our bath. Weirdly he didn't enjoy it at all hahaha, anyways he's such a lover and put up with it. So then we cuddled some more for a while so he could dry and once he was finally dried I clipped his teeth he has an under bite and then I put a diaper on him so he could hop around the house! I never have tried putting a diaper on any of them before but I think it's something I might have to try more often now because it works! He looks so cute and there's no mess to clean up! It's just slightly awkward walking through Wal-Mart with a pack of diapers but oh well I love the bunnies!

York Show!
The York show was pretty fun not one of my favorites. It was really crowded and Julie and I got there late so as we were entering they were doing SSB so we grabbed Jacque and Kennelly and ran them up to the table. Then Julie unfortunately missed her class for Harper her Tort Wooly :( But it was a fun show, just really crowded and hard to walk through. Our next show is Washington which I am really looking forward to. I am hoping I will be able to scrape up enough money to buy a 6 hole from martins where each cage compartment is 24x24 so that'd be like perfect! Genesis was our high point of the day she placed 3rd! yay goo Genesis! Etienne placed 5th in SJB so I am proud of that too! It was an open only show so that was okay so I am proud of their showings in open! :) Next show is Washington, PA on 3/20!

Sitting and Waiting
Currently I am sitting and waiting for Polar's Orajel to dry on his ear so I can tattoo him again ... yes again I am not very good at tattooing so often I have to do it more than once haha. but oh well I am getting ready for the York show tomorrow yay! I am excited to go to it but I don't really have that night before show excitement for some reason. I love being at the shows but idk for some reason this show it just doesn't seem like it's tomorrow. It's just gonna be me and Julie tomorrow so no April or Chrissy which will be also weird. I am showing Polar,Pandora,Genesis,Kennelly,Etienne and if Ruby isn't prego then I will be showing her too! I am excited to show Genesis the most I think to see how she does. She will be in the SJD class so hopefully there will be some competition. Polar Pandora and Etienne are all going up against each other soo obviously we can only have one winner and hopefully it will be one of mine! haha :) UHmmm what else Oh yeah Jacque will be shown by Julie but he will be showing against Ken ... Ken's gonna pull out his BIS this time I feel it haha.. The York show is all open so I am not sure if it's that big of a show or what so I guess we will see when we get there! I guess this is totally just rambling and everything so I guess I will go finish tattooing

Angoras....
This post will be all about Angoras haha :)
So I can't decide I know I definitely want at least one angora maybe more I just don't know! I thought about getting a stacker of angoras like 4 of them maybe but then I am not sure. I think I am going to get a pair probably. I want to get fuzzy lops still too but I am running out of room which I didn't really think was possible in my shed. I guess if I utilized my space better I wouldn't run out of room haha. But here's my plan to get an 8 hole have 4 of the holes be for angoras then 4 for juniors/hollands then get 2 more of the smaller 18x22 or whatever they are cages so then that'd make it like a 10 hole so then that'd be 10 more cages then I could have 4 cages for hollands and 4 cages for fuzzy lops then I think I'd get another stack of maybe 2 cages like a 2 hole with each hole being 18x24 maybe? orrr better idea!!! I could have the 8 hole be for fuzzy lops then the 4 smaller cages be for juniors then I could get 2 - 24x36 cages I think that'd be big enough for the angoras or maybe at 30x36 I will have to measure how wide my shelf is and get customized cages from martins because I could stack the angora cages on the shelf. Then I could utilize my loft more and put all my random stuff up there that I don't really use that often so then the shelf wouldn't feel so crowded. I am seeing in the summer a huge shed remodel which includes a new 8 hole martins so it matches my other 8 hole then 2 of the huge cages probably pointerhill so I can have them shipped and 2 more of the smaller cages.... okay sooo who has the check book?!
I need to star this blog post or something so I know this is the one where I talk about what I want to do so I know what to do when I have the money to do it haha

Sahar is due on Sunday when I am at the show of course she's such a squirrel so idk what kind of a mother she will be then Idina is due on thursday that week! I am so excited. Blings babies are so cute! They have their eyes opened and are just trying food and binkying all the time... i love bebies!
